About Ben

Ben Bailey has always been a musician in his heart and a jazz drummer in his soul. He graduated from the legendary Berklee College of Music. Ben is a unique combination of natural talent and the kind of work ethic required to make it through such a rigorous program. Throughout his musical career, Ben has performed and recorded with artists such as Houston Person, Rodney Jones, and Freddie Hubbard. He has performed on stages and jazz festivals throughout the world.

He is not only a great musician, but also a corporate entrepreneur. He is also a national level competition track runner. A few years ago, Ben realized the culmination of an idea that became a dream and then a reality, when he assembled some of Nashville’s greatest jazz players and recorded his own album named a Bird in the Hand. I have been honored to know Ben from his early student years to today’s special recording session.
